56K WAN link, Netware server on each side. Trying to associate NDPS printer on one side with a queue on the other because we use Citrix to print through a DOS app. Printers are always "reconnecting to queue" and they seem to loose their connection a lot. We run TCP/IP. Any help would be great.

Thank you

Check your router logs to see whether the 56k link is being swamped - may explain the disconnecting of server and printer cannot talk.

Also, how is your NDS replicas configured?

Well our routers are looked afetr by an outside source so I will ask them. As far as replicas we have the master replica where the main print queues are. The remote location has read-write I believe. We get error 305 a lot "unable to read queue I.D..." cannot check printer details etc.

This remote location has been an issue for a while. We have beeen getting error 625 and 634 when doing DSREPAIR as well which may be related.

I appreciate anymore hel that you may have to offer.

Thanks

Latest. I waited a while and ran dsrepair and error 305 went away. Now under printer spooling configurations showing remote queues it always says printer reconnecting to queue and never changes to printer is sericin queue.
