Wan IP

I have a static wan IP Address and every time I go to certain websites, they get my IP address and the next thing you know I get alot of spam and I get a intrusion dection in the log meaning someone is trying to get into my system.

Is there any way to hide or mask my ip from the public so I won't be attacked?
