I am running a login script to change users background. The only problem is that they have to log off and log back in for the reg. change to take effect. Is there a command I could run to refresh their wallpaper to immediatley display the new wallpaper as apposed to logging out and then back in again???

This is more of a Windows question rather than a NetWare question, you might have better luck in the Windows forums

if doing the change via a reg file then by definition it will not take effect until restarted as the registry aint dynamic

a gpo via zen or such like would be dynamic
