Wall Weasel?

Anyone ever heard of something called a "wall weasel" that's supposed to make drilling up from an outlet through firestops and caps a cinch? I saw this device on a site several days ago, and couldn't make out from the picture what principle it used or how it functions. And at over $300, I wasn't about to spring for one without better intel.

That kind of job remains the headache extrodinaire for me, even trying to drill down in outer wall caps where narrow roof pitch makes access nearly impossible. There seems to be no easy ways. 72" bits drilled up from the outlet never works for me.

Retrofit isnt that hard once you understand a few basic concepts.
