Wall mounting a Phone 16 module

I am use to using the wall mounting hardware for the IPO 500 v2 well I needed to add a Phone 16 module and thought that the wall mounts would work the same way. Seems that I can only rack mount the expansion modules. Has anyone come up with a work around for wall mounting the expansion modules when a rack can not be installed. Strange that the expansions can not wall mount. Thanks!

I've used 2 continuous strips of velcro around the control unit and the expansion module stacked on "top" of it.

You can also get 2 RU racks that mount flat to the backboard and use rack mount brackets on the control unit and expansion module.

use 2 of these. 700503160 designed to mount a control unit and the second one for the expansion.

I've never done it, but I have also seen a rack mount where they drilled two holes through it and used that to mount the expansion to the wall.

The reason that the expansion modules are not wall mountable is that Avaya didn't think that anyone has that many extensions without spending money on the correct infrastructure.
The old wall mount kit should work for that. It is also cheaper than the new one.

IP500 external expansion modules are wall mountable. You need to get the right mounting kit. There have been 3 different version of mounting kit. You need the IP500 Rack Mounting Kit V2 (700500923) or V3 (700503160 as mkoker said) which despite its name is used for wall or rack mounting (the V2 version had a design fault that meant they broke very easily, the V3 fixed that).

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

just in case I didn't describe the phone 16 module this is the one in the white cabinet that is compatible with the 400 or 500 series. So I'm using a 500 v2 control unit and a 400v 2 phone 16 module expansion. It works just fine its online. So far I've used 4 small L-shaped flanges that work just fine they don't look very nice but I would rather use the correct hardware the only thing that came with this module was a rack mounted flanges. I could not use combo cards because this installation just has too many analog devices that need to run over the PRI so a phone 60 module was the best option.
