Wake up laptop API

I need to have a laptop suspend then wake up in X number of seconds/minutes/hours/days. I know that this can happen since the Microsoft Hardware Compatability test application does it, but I cannot find the API that will accomplish this.

This needs to be Win9x and Win2k compliant (like MHCT is).
