Installing a new sx200Icp 3.1 and have no wake up call capabilities. I can set a wake up call from the embedded voice mail with no problem but it never rings the phone or puts anything out to smdr. When using the superconsole 1000 soft keys the wake up call option never appears on the screen, but all other options do. Is this something missing from my moss options sheet or is something programmed wrong somewhere. The person that ordered this system new did NOT order the hotel motel package, he ordered the business package. Is wake up calls a moss option only in the hotel motel package???

Am I getting this right? You are installing in a hotel and you do not have either Lodging or PMS enabled on your moss options? These are cheap if not free options. I wouldn't even consider continuing without one of these options.

You can add lodging or PMS to your package and that would be the best way to go. If this property has PMS or plans on getting it you will need that option anyway. You may be able to mask the problem now but it will come back to haunt you later. Do it right now.

I have both lodging and pms in my system options, and have tried enabling both and it makes no difference. Just because they appear in system options does that necessarily mean that they are there and enabled in moss. I know for sure that the engineer ordered the businss package and not the hotel motel package.

I have just checked the order sheet and the hospitality option was ordered....now why doesn't the wake up button appear on the console and when I set a wakeup from the voice mail why doesn't it ring the phone????

One thing at at time, lets do the console first. Before that though confirm in the switch not on paper that lodging is enabled in form 4 option 107.
In CDE Form 03, enable COS option 101 (Attendant O/G Restriction/Room Status Setup) for the console. Enable COS option 202 (Alarm Call) and COS option 244 (Room Status Applies) for the extension.
In CDE Form 04, enable System Option 11 (Automatic Wakeup Enable).

Thank you so much pandabear1, it all worked perfectly via your instructions. I was missing cos 101 for the console.

Thanks again
