Back again...

Wkae up seems to be setup ok.

FAC code is accepted (*11) :

When I dial *11 2460 or *11 1260 it returns invalid # (sounds ok to me), but when I dial a correct number such as *11 1230...no tones...I may dial two more digits...and it doesn(t work ....weird

Can someone tell me if it runs ok on its ICP

Regards

which flavour of FAC code are you using.

There are 3 different FAC's

Personal wakeup
wakeup from guest room
Remote wake up

From the Help File:

Conditions

Extensions that will receive wake-up calls must have the Hotel Room Extension COS option enabled.

An attendant on another controller can set up multiple wake up calls on extensions across DPNSS; however, the Wake-Up Expiration Routing point, programmed in the Hotel Options Assignment form, must be local to the extensions (that is, a directory number on the same controller).

If a VIP/Personal wake-up is presented to an endpoint that is out-of-service or in absent mode, it is redirected to the extension which is to receive the VIP/Personal wake-up. If the endpoint is simply not answered, it will continue to ring and will not be redirected.

Wake-ups cannot be set against Linked Suite Pilot numbers.

Feature access codes are supported only through digit entry on the set. There is no support for prompting or softkeys on display sets.

Wake-up times set from a SUPERCONSOLE 1000 cannot be closer than 21 minutes apart.

Programming

In the Class of Service Options Assignment form:
- Set the Hotel/Motel Room Personal Wake-up Call Allowed option to "Yes", to allow VIP/Personal wake-up calls to be set or canceled using this extension.
- Set the Hotel/Motel Room Remote Wake-up Call Allowed option to "Yes", to allow remote wake-up calls to be set or canceled using this extension.

In the Feature Access Code Assignment form, assign one or all of the following codes, depending on the desired method of setting and canceling wake-up calls:
- Hotel/Motel Room Wake-up Call from Guest Extension - Set
- Hotel/Motel Room Wake-up Call from Guest Extension - Cancel
- Hotel/Motel Room Personal Wake-up Call - Set
- Hotel/Motel Room Personal Wake-up Call - Cancel
- Hotel/Motel Room Remote Wake-up Call - Set
- Hotel/Motel Room Remote Wake-up Call - Cancel

Operation

SUPERCONSOLE 1000:

To set a wake-up call:

Enter Guest Service mode and select a room.

Press the WAKE-UP softkey.
The Wake-ups screen is displayed and shows the status of the 3 wake-up calls. A * indicates the wake-up will be repeated daily until canceled; the # indicates a personal wake-up.

Press the Set Wk-Up # key (where # is the number of the wake-up you want to set 1, 2, or 3).
The Set Wake-Up screen is displayed. If a wake-up is already set it is shown.

Enter the desired wake-up time.

Press the AM or PM softkey.

(Optional) Press Daily to repeat this wake-up every day until canceled.
The Daily/Once softkey is dynamic. The softkey displays Daily when the current wake-up is set to Once, so it can be changed. When the current wake-up is set to Daily, the softkey displays Once. If nothing is pressed, the default is Once.
(Optional) Press Personal to enable the wake-up as a VIP/Personal wake-up.

The Personal/Auto softkey is dynamic. The softkey displays Personal when the current wake-up is set to Auto, so it can be changed. When the current wake-up is set to Personal, the softkey displays Auto. If nothing is pressed, the default is Auto.

Press the SET softkey to enable the wake-up.
- If the wake-up is not set properly, an "Invalid Wake-up" message is displayed.

To cancel:

Press the Clear Time softkey while in the Set Wake-Up screen.

Press the Clear Wk-Up# (where # is the number of the wake-up you want to clear) while in the Wake-Ups screen.

Well,
Does someone has this working feature on v8.0 ?

Thanks for your answer kwbMitel :

* I want to use Personal wakeup
* Hotel Room Extension COS option is enabled; If not, I receive a forbidden message (which seems normal).
* I'm setting up tests on the lab and I don't have attendant console.
* I didn't test remote wake-up yet just to know if it works.
* I press *11 <desired time>, not usung a speed call key

I remember know that I've seen on a NORTEL system, that minimum time is required between wake up call required and actual time...i'll have to test it on Monday

I keep you on touch

I'm sorry to inform that a programming a wake-up call several hours later still impossible...

Remote wake-up call seems to be weird to ?

Classicals functionning would be (with remote code *12) on set 101 at 1pm :

*121011300 or *121300101

But...

Now, it's about French users too !!!
