Hi all
I have a question about wake on lan.

Does RS6000 support wake on lan ?
Are there any requirements when this feature is possible?

Thanks in advance.

Hi

The Easiest Way, is with Nim.
Define a Master and all other Machines as Client. ( NIM A-Z )
You can install, boot, maint the Clients in your Environment
Its also Posible to Boot a Machine over Serial Line, or Modem.

As far as I know WOL works only on Win and Netware. Not even on Win NT.

The RS6k was designed to be on all the time, I believe, given the way to likes to break on reboots. =) But there could be some way to do it with a remote interface to the service processor. It would have to be one of the newer models, check your SP menu for options. IBM Certified -- AIX 4.3 Obfuscation
