Wake from standby with USB mouse and keyboard

I share my mouse and keyboard via an usb kvm. However, I currently have to keep a ps2 keyboard connected to my pc to wake it from standby mode. Is there a way I can configure XP (pro) to recognize the usb mouse and keyboard for all functions?

You could check if there is a legacy or native USB support that is not enabled in the BIOS.

But, I think you are out of luck. I am very sorry.

On some systems the keyboard/mouse has to be connected to a specific USB port to get this working. Details in the manual that came with the mainboard.
