I have an IBM 300PL Model 6562-34U which had W95 as the OS.
It has a 2.1 Gig drive that was partitioned as C: and D:. I installed W98 SE from a Basic Image (No drivers) using PowerQuest Drive Image Pro 4.0. I deleted the partitions so that I would only have the one drive of 2.1 Gig. Everything installed fine, but when I went to reboot after completion of image copy I freeze on Windows 98 splash screen. I tried right from scratch copying the image again only this time I checked for bad sectors. Again on reboot it froze on splash screen.
Does anyone have any ideas what I should check for?
