I have a small network that consist of a W2K and a Novell 4.11 server and a number of W98 and W2K clients. My print devices are network attacted printer that are connected to the W2K server via TCP/IP. All clients log into the Novell F/S and are authenticated on the W2k server. I run several application on the network like MAS90 for accounting and a few other applications.

All of this was working well but now, suddenly and for no apparent reason, several of the W98 clinets can no longer locate the W2k server. I can ping the IP address of the server and other devices on the network but I cannot access the W2k server. I suspect its a name resolution issue but I can't imagine what took place for two of ten W98 clients to stop communicating with the server.

Any suggestions?

All I can think of offhand is to check your WINS server (still running?) and the LMHOSTS file.
