w6904 Tape alert message

I am getting a "w6904 **Tape Alert** The tape drive is a problem reading data" warning message on the backup log. I cannot find any info from CA's website. Does anyone what the problem is? I am using ArcServer 2000 and the tape drive is an Overland DLT8000.

Your tape drive is producing errors trying to read and/or write. It's probably has dirty head and needs cleaning. The Activity log will tell you this.
