I am making a site in geocities and I thought I'd validate my site by the w3c standard and get the gif they give you happening etc. I managed this, (it's a nightmare when you leave the tiniest thing out!), and when I put the gif which acts as a link on the page to show you that yes indeed the site is valid, it actually validated the geocities site and not mine, even though it was linking from my site. Has anyone else come across this? Is it just a geocities thing? I have made a site valid before and haven't had trouble with it showing it's validation page from the w3c.org site.
