W3C spec question with Link Element

This is a voicexml question that I'm hoping somebody will know. Will grammars with fully qualified URI’s work within a Link element?

I looked at the W3C specs and all the examples for Link element are using inline grammars. There is nothing stated that fully referenced URI in the src attribute of the <grammar> node will work within a link element.

Is anybody familar with how the Link element works in VoiceXML?
