Hi everybody,

I always get in my job logs the following kind of message "W3404 Unable to open file. (FILE=C:\WINNT\system32\Perflib_Perfdata_56c.dat, EC=SHARING VIOLATION)", and each day I´ve got a new file in this warning.

Does anyone knows how to fix this warning? Because of this warning ,I always get a incomplete backup.

Best Regards,
Carlos

If you don't care if you get a backup of that file, you could try putting it in a filter and tell it to exclude the file or directory.

Or you could shut down the program that has it locked. before the backup starts.

Hope this helps.

We have this same problem and have discovered that the file is created and locked by the SNMP service. When the service is stopped, the file disappears altogether.
