Hi All,
I am getting a W3404 Sharing Violation warning on Arcserve IT. I understand that ArcServe won't backup open and active files, however I wish to back up these open files. The files are an internal backup from my software that you need to press OK once it has finished to close it. Since I am not in the office when this backup completes I am unable to press OK to finish it. The software doesn't have a function to auto finish it, my ArcServe backup then starts auotmatically at all hours of the morning. From what I have read ArcServe has a function that will shut down these open files, called a pre/post command or something.
Can anyone shed some light on this????
Thanks
