I have managed to synchronize our DC and I have placed the net time /setsntp:IPADDRESS in the autoexec.bat file hoping that this will cause time synchronization at bootup. Is this a good way to go? Also, I want our workstations to sync to the DC at boot, but the system always asks for permission to sync. How do I answer with "y" in a batch file?

Hi there,

I may be mistaken, but you should just be able to append /y at the end of your command.

For your example it would be:
net time /setsntp:IPADDRESS /y

I know that this works with the regular net time /set command, I am unsure as to whether or not it will work with the /setsntp command (I guess it should)

We have something similar where I work that we placed in the startup folder of the machines. Again, I think that the autoexec.bat file should work as well.
