Dear Technical Team,

We have NAV 7.5 Corporate edition installed in our PC with Automatic live update option enabled. Our PC is affected by W32.Nimda.A@mm virus, we have latest NAV Definitions updated in the client. We executed the fixnimda.com tool and it reports files has been repaired and we run Full manual scan and restarted the PC. Also We have tried
the manual removal procedure as per the symantec tech support article. Still the Virus is present in the PC and frequently virus warning message is appearing. Eventhough we have disabled the option "Display message on infected computer", still the warning the message is appearing.

Kindly help us to overcome the issue.

Thanks

regards

Put the fixnimda on the PCs HD. Restart in safe mode. Run the fixnimda program until it reports you don't have the virus.

Check the startup folder, autoexec and the registry. Bin the contents of the temp folder, temporary internet items and the bin.

Restart normally and rerun the fixnimda. It should confirm you are clear.
