I have Symantec Corporate Edition 8 on all my servers and pcs. I have Norton Antivirus for Exchange 2.5 on my Exchange 5.5 server on a W2K server.

Every so often(like alot), on my exchange server the w32.netsky.p@mm!enc virus pops up found in my 'E:\Exchsrvr\imcdata\in' folder. File name is something like kv6mchXX. As Norton finds it, the Action taken says Delete. Which is good, I'm guessing. But why does it keep popping up.

I've stopped all Exchange services, ran a virus scan and also the Netsky removal tool. Nothing? Where is this coming from and how do I find it and kill it??

Thanks for any help.

Unix IS user friendly... It's just selective about who its friends are.

I did check that but none of my workstations are showing that they have a virus on them. This is just showing up on the Exchange server????

Unless, somehow one of the workstation's antivirus is disabled/off and not showing up on my Symantec System Console??? Hmmmm, I wonder if that is it.
