It's got to be month ago that I got infected with this virus,I done all the removal stuff and it seemed to work,But, every time I open my mail i get at least 10-12 returned mail that i did,nt even send.How long is this going to go on? is there a way other than changing my email address of stopping this,it is more than annoying now.Thanks in advance for any help I can get........Drummond

Someone that has your email address is infected. I suggest you send an email to everyone in your address book and ask them to download and run Symantec's free removal tool to see if it detects the virus. Send them this link.
You may want to run it yourself just to be sure you're not still infected but you probably aren't. Klez can make it appear that an email came from one address when in fact it was sent from another address and system altogether.

All our computers and network system got infected by this W32/Klez virus today ... I never truly understood what it was all about until today - this Klez is very serious !! I've gotten a bug in my home computer from downloading music which my tech says is like having sex with everyone on the internet. So I don't do that anymore - even though it only infected my computer and program files.
This Klez snuck past our virus system which now we will be looking in to a firewall - it was totally unbelievable to see how this thing worked itself all day as one-by-one we slowly tried to clean each computer ... it is such a shame that some mean spirited person or persons is out there creating these viruses that can totally melt down systems and businesses. I wish we could catch this person or persons responsible because it is terrorism in itself !!! Why people spend their time and energies creating such destructiveness is beyond me - I pray they get caught one day, if so, the process should be that of a terrorist, if we don't ever catch 'em Karma will get them !! You know the old saying "what goes around, comes around" !!

Help please, these e-mails are driving me crazy. I,m just an everyday computer user who mostly uses the computer as an educational tool.

There is very little that you can do.
What I did was:-
1) Make sure Nortons or whatever is uptodate.
2) Look at the headers of the emails. Right click, properties, details, Message source on Outlook Express. Mine all had a line like
Received: from smtp.tninet.se
All of mine came from the same isp.
I copied and pasted the headers into an email and sent them to the isp's abuse email address.
The problem seems to have gone away.
I also sent emails to all the people in the from line of the klez including the email addresses of all the other from's (if you see what I mean) asking if any of them knew each other. Good idea, but only a couple replied.
