W2K users having problem with home page

Hello,

I currently have NT(ie6) users logging into proxy and accessing their home page on the internet. But we are going to w2k and some test users are now having the problem of their home page timing out(with ie6) and having to click on refresh or home to bring it up - after they do this they are fine. Does anyone know the remedy to this problem?
I have already gone to the advanced tab and enabled http selections.
