Okay, I have chased this one all over the web with no results, so if anyone can help they will be a hero.
I keep getting this same error message on a WIN98SE to W2K upgrade. I have done all that is listed in the Microsoft Support article #252725 for the files in QuickBooks, Oracle, etc. I have uninstalled Norton. I have cleaned the registry. I have chased every other lead I could conceive. Same error.
The only other clue I can offer is the last entry in the setupact.log file:
"COMMIG_INFO: Failed to open the setup key of MTS <SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Transaction Server\Setup(OCM)>! Error code =0x2"
Any clues??? I have thrashed on this for about two days now and need to get it fixed.
