W2K server DOD interface unable to reconnect

Hi,

I have a problem with a multihomed w2k server behind a dsl router connects trough a VPN tunnel to a w2k ras server.
Every time it disconnects we have to restart the (connecting) server to let it reconnect. The strange thing is that we are running two more servers with vpn connections to the same ras server with the excact same config and they reconnect just fine. It's a really annoying problem and the only answer Microsoft has, is to reboot the server?

Does anyone know what is happening here?
I'm lost!
