Does anyone know why?
If I enable VPN Outbound from the 'Routing and Remote Access' on the W2K Server (sp3) I can ping the remote gateway 192.168.10.1 but can not ping any of the servers...ie 192.168.10.51
However, if I disconnect the VPN Outbound under 'Routing and Remote Access' and double click the 'Manual VPN Outbound' icon under 'Network and Dial-up Connections' (right click 'My Network Places' on desktop) I can ping both the remote gateway and any remote server.
Is it maybe because the Routing and Remote Access IP needs to be registered in the outbound DNS.
Is there a way to have the 'Manual VPN Outbound' load at startup and work without a user having to login and launch?
Thanks
