Hi all. I have a Thinkpad A21e laptop running Windows 2000 Pro. I've updated all the device drivers on the machine, and even installed the latest version of DirectX. My screen area is still limited to 800x600. The OS automatically discovers my display as a Digital Flat Panel (800x600). I've deleted both the monitor and the display adapter (including in safe mode), but Windows always re-discovers the monitor at the same 800x600 setting. I know the both the display and the adapter are capable of higher resolution. If I try to add new hardware, monitors don't appear. In Windows 98, there was a registry key that you could use to set the "Default Monitor"'s screen area, but I cannot locate any such setting in the Windows 2000 registry. Any ideas/suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!
