w2k reactivate disk - automatic with startup 1

Hi,
I have an external disk drive (USB) which I have to reactivate after every startup (reboot).
Does anyone know a posibility how to do this automatic in the startup?

thanks to hellphikneaux,
but this doesn't fit my problem.
I can work with my externel USB-Harddisk, but after a reboot I have to 'reactivate disk'.
This I would like to be startet while the reboot automatically.
