We have a Netware 5.1 based network, and have just added six W2K machines. After setting up the network printers they worked fine, but now an epidemic is occurring in which the default printer is no longer reachable. The default printer refuse to respond, and then trying to reinstall the printer we receive a message in the wizard stating "Error: printer name is invalid". Win98 machines have no problem sending to the queue, so any info would be greatly appreciated.

Check to see whether the Spooler service has stopped - in Services and also Event Viewer. -----------------------------------------------------
