w2k pro slow accessing netware files

I have recently upgrade to windows 2000 pro from windows 95.

I noticed that when I try to open a file (Excel or word)that is on my novell 5 server there is a delay before it opens. This was not the case when I try the same thing from a windows 95 unit.

Any ideas why.......

Hi,
Try going to Network Neighborhood, click on TCP/IP properties and the Wins tab. Then disable netbios over TCP/IP.
