I have win98 machines logging on over ADSL network/cisco routers. I use lmhosts files to identify servers, and have checked them, they load fine and are correct, apparently.
Problem is that before our summer holidays, logon was functioning fine. Now, machines allowed onto the domain when password is entered, but no logon scripts are executed, and the following message appears: "there was no domain server available to confirm...". Yet users can print, see shares, and even outlook is working?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
