I have 2 machines, one with Win98SE and the other with W2K. The pc with W2K can see the 98SE machine but when i attempt to contact the W2K machine with my 98SE pc, it prompts for a password? Any ideas?? Is it a protocol thing? BTW...I do have a Fat32 partition on the W2K machine.

TIA!

It's not a protocol thing, nor a file system thing, it's a security thing. And it's a good thing if your machine is on the internet with a permanent or persistent tcp\ip address. Don Swayser
