Hi,

I've just upgrade my HP Kayak 6/300 with one CPU PII 66/300 whit 2 CPU PII 66/300 + PII 66/333, both @ 66/300 Mhz and I have setup the bios and mother board as need.

The probleme is that W2K don't boot at all whit 2 CPU activate and whit W2K kernel for multiprocessoring.

NB(1): Win NT4 SP6 run clean, with bi-processoring facilities, on this PC with the same configuration (so both CPU and mother-board run) but I need W2K for conveniance.
NB(2): I have some problem with MultiCPU kernels under Linux Debian 3.0

W2K crash on the early boot, with a blue screen of death and a message like this:
"Multiprocessoring configuration not suported"

Obwiously I have tried different bios configuration and different W2K Kernel configuration, show my results:
(HP Kayak 6/300 is not an ASPI computer but only APM)
(I have only a PII 66/300 and a PII 66/333)

Bios single CPU / W2K Single CPU kernel : Boot OK
Bios single CPU / W2K Multi CPU kernel : Boot OK
Bios Multi CPU / W2K Single CPU kernel : Boot OK
Bios Multi CPU / W2K Multi CPU kermel : Boot failed ...

Someone have more interresting tips ???

Thanks

Samuel
