Has anyone ever come acroos this. We use roaming profiles in an NT4 domain. One user who has a w2k laptop, has quite a few ntuser.pol.tmp.tmp.tmp.... files

Can all the TMP files be safely deleted?

Thanks in Advance.
John

Yes you can. I assume the user is moving between Windows NT & 2k machines with a roaming profile? Log the user off any other machines. Change the user profile on the laptop to local profile, log off then on again. Browse to the profiles folder on network and delete the .tmp.tmp...... files.
