Hi, All,

I'm getting stop errors during startup on an IBM box (model 6645P1U, though it's had RAM, HDD, and CD-ROM swapped).

This is after a fresh reformat and install of Win2K Professional, and persists even if I repeat the procedure. (I believe the W2K disc is good; I've used it with other boxes.)

Specifically, when Windows hits the startup screen (white background, with the "cloud pattern" busy-bar), it gets about halfway done, then kicks me over to a BSOD, which reads:

STOP ERROR 0x000001E (0xC000001D, 0xF7411107, 0x00080006, 0x805628B4) KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

Address F7411107 base at F7410000, datestamp 3820e051 - BOOTVID.DLL
Address 805628B4 base at 80400000, datestamp 3ee6c002 - ntoskrnl.exe

Any insight would be immensely appreciated.

Thanks,
Steve

I had this a while back when I was doing a install. I believe I had to reset the bios to the default. I belive its a hardware issue so disconnect any unneeded hardware and if possible use a different CDrom drive. (really it works)
