I've been having periodic system freezes in WIN2K after upgrading to a Logitech cordless optical mouse and keyboard. I'll be clicking along and then all of a sudden the system is frozen. It usually comes back to life after a few minutes. A friend of mine purchased the same product for their W2K system and is having the same problem so I'm thinking it is a software issue.
I was already running the current drivers and software from Logitech, but uninstalled and reinstalled them. I updated to W2K SP4 from SP3. I've emailed Logitech and posted on Msoft boards but haven't heard back. I have noticed that I can usually "cntrl" "alt" "del" to "interrupt" the freeze and don't even have to choose a task to disable. But, my freedom is often short lived and it freezes again after the next click.
Does anyone have any ideas?
