W2K doesn't see D-Link DWL-G650+ adapter

help who has ideas. I have D-Link DWL-G650+ notebook adapter version A1.
OS is W2K. I downloaded driver from D-Link site. Installed
but W2K says that net controller is unknown. I tired
via Control Panel. In specified driver location there is
psimnic.inf file (for which is asked), but Windoze
anyway says can't locate.

any ideas?
