The DC is unable to resolve internet ip addresses (i.e. i belive is something related to the domain suffixes because when i run nslookup -debug i've noticed that the query is maded for " instead of "

Sounds like your dns server is set as a root server - check the following:

Start the DNS Management console.

Expand the DNS server object.

Expand the Forward Lookup Zones folder.

check if there is a zone .

Click the zone that is marked with a period (.), and then press the DELETE key. Click OK.

make sure your dns forwarders are configured to point to your ISPs DNS .

Actually to quote Jpoandl from - who as usual explains stuff so well
You have to configure forwarding on your internal DNS servers to allow this:

You need to forward your internal DNS servers to use ISP DNS servers for forward lookups.

1) Delete your "." root DNS zone on your DNS servers (If you have an internal "." root zone
2) Right Click your DNS server in DNS manager. Then click Properties. Click the DNS Forwarders tab. Forward to your ISP provided DNS servers.
3) Wait 5 minutes (for replication to other internal DC's)
4) try to resolve the web site again.
