W2K Desktop Randomly Reboots

Hi,
I am having a small problem with my W2k desktop PC, I built this a few years ago and all ran smoothly without problems. Rrecently I installed a CD-RW, (I have since uninstalled this), but my pc will boot up ok then in a few mins reboot but never quite come back up. I usually have to leave it for a while then try again. This is very intermittant. Any ideas ?
Was wondering if the CMOS battery might be the problem as I dont use the pc very often at all.

CMOS battery > No.

Have you taken a look in the Event Viewer? It should give you a indication of why it rebooted.

Try swapping the PSU.
