W2K Can't Authenticate to Novell server

I have a user who has a W2K machine and connects to my Novell server using Microsofts client services for netware. It's been working fine but all of the sudden the machine will no longer log in to the server.

I think it's a problem with the client on his machine because I tried uninstalling the client but during the uninstall Windows stops responding and I have to shutdown. When I restart, Client service for Netware no longer shows under the local area connection so I tried reinstalling but it stops responding here as well.

Any thoughts on how I can get it to uninstall and reinstall cleanly.
