I am facing problem accordingly.
I have two disks. I am using veritas version 4.1
c0t0d0----------ABC (Media Name)
c0t1d0----------DEF (Media Name)

c0t0d0 has been encapsulated. It contains root filesystem. I have used vxdiskadm to mirror & initialize c0t1d0. Then from command line i used the following command.

#vxdg -g rootdg -k rmdisk DEF
#vxdisk destroy c0t1d0

Now vxdisk list shows

c0t0d0 ----- online
c0t1d0 ----- online invalid
removed was : c0t1d0
How can i reclaim a disk properly.(tied vxdiskunsetup but of no avail)

What exactly do you mean by "reclaim"? What do you want to do?

Annihilannic.

I just wanna remove last line from the output.
#vxdisk list
c0t0d0 ----- online
c0t1d0 ----- online invalid
removed was : c0t1d0

How i can remove the
removed was : c0t1d0
from the above output?

I have already tried but not in vain.

Ali
