Hi all
We had a loan box from HP with 11.11 installed. The Sys administrator did a vgcfgbackup of his data before we returned the server.
Now we need to vgcfgrestore it to a local 11.0 system, but it doesn't recognize the file system. The is because of the file system version being different. Vxfs 11.0 filesystem is version 3 and 11.11 version 4.
I've read that you can upgrade the file system version with the vxupgrade command, but it just gives this output :
# /sbin/vxupgrade -n 3 /home/output
/sbin/vxupgrade: /dev/vg01/rprinting version is 3; can only upgrade from version <= 2
The question : Can a 11.0 vxfs filesystem be upgraded to a version 4 filesystem? If yes, how?
Thank you
George
