I am practicing backups and restores. The backups are working fine. I just thought I would test out some restores "just in case". I cannot seem to get the vxrestore command and syntax down. I am using this command...
/usr/sbin/vxdump 0fu galileo:/dev/rmt/0n /dev/vx/dsk/apps/vol01

where galileo is the server with the tape drive attached. Here I am trying to restore the entire file system. Once I get that down, I can work on individual files. Anyone else use these commands for backups and restores?
