vxd error's

What is the correct procedure for vxd error's. If you get a vxd error of a vxd not from windows can you delete the registerkey in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\VxD

and wait if any program doesn't work properly and delete the vxd later ?

Can you do dit safely ? You wil found out directly from whitch program the vxd is right ?
