I am quite new to Vmware and have recently installed the Vmware Update Manage service. This resides on its own server with Sql2005 Express Edition as the backend database. My problem is that whenever I try to download patches, the progress bar says complete within about 1 minute but whenever I check the patch repository it is empty. The logs dont tell me anything and I have checked the usual stuff like service account password and Database permissions. I have also seen this issue mentioned when I use google it but nobody seems to have come up with a fix. Has anyone seen this before. Any help would be most appreciated.
