We are receiving the following 401 Internal error:

"Internal error: can't get process name for process 2553(2:the system cannot find the file specified)"

The following is in the vulture.runtime file:

60
'The name of the Administrator account'

All processes run under this admin. account
We receive this error every 60 minutes, so I know the daemon is running. I don't know what process it is looking for. Stopping and starting firewall service or rebooting doesn't work.
The errors have occurred since we upgraded from 6.02 to 6.5 in Dec.

Thanks,

Are you running anything else ontop of the Raptor software? Vulture kills process that should not be running.

We are running the firewall with no extra services / applications. The only thing we added was a HP SureStore DAT drive w/ Tapeware b/u program. THis might be the culprit.

This probably is the culprit. The only "critical" files that need to be backed up are in the SG dir. No folders need to be backed up. Just the text files. These can all fit on a floppy. If you feel the definite need to have this app running on FW you can edit the vulture text file. I forget the name now but you should find details on this within your resouce guide. If this software does anything funky, like communicate with your PDC or any other machine inside your network you may be opening up a vulnerability on your FW. Once someone is in they own your network.

Thanks for the advice. I'll try using the floppy disk backup method.
