I am getting "SLS5024E timeout on Ecam I/O TO DEVICE nnnn".This is on a StorageTek VSM and StorageTek 9840 drives ( VTSS )
These happen every now and then and seem to clear up on their own. This message explanation says that a VTCS timer has expired and the I/O has not yet completed. The hsc logs have been checked for errors but none found.
Is there anything that can be done to prevent these from occuring? Maybe the fact that are only a certain number of tape drives causing the backlog? If you have any insight let me know.
