VTL Tapes Question

I have not worked with VTLs before. We cloned some data from VTLs to physical tapes. Now we need to test the data from this cloned physical tapes. How do I make VTL tapes unavailable to make sure that the data does not get restored from VTL.

Just ejecting them would do the job.

change the state of the saveset located on the vtl to suspect.
Now networker will automatically use the cloned saveset on the physical tape
