does anyone have the parameters to the settings on the tty vt520? One of my mac techs changed them and can't get them back to the correct settings..I keep getting backward ???? marks and other symbols..Thanks

the parms should be 9600 8 none and one.. the speed is adjustable, but the rest usually stays firm...do you need info on getting into setup?

NOW I CAN ONLY GET CHARACTERS FROM THE PBX VIA MY 520 WHEN I EMULATE A VT100..??I CAN GET INTO IT VIA F3, BUT IM NOT SURE WHAT HE PUSHED TO CHANGE IT/..? I TRIED TO CHNAGE IT TO YOUR SETTINGS, BUT IT DID NOT WORK..?? ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Check your Character settings under terminal type and set both to DEC Multinational. Let me know if that helps. If it doesn't, post your settings and I'll tell you what is wrong. I have several VT520 and Link termianls, so I should be able to help you out.

after f3 step down to default setting and start there, then go to communications and make sure the port is set to the default settings, it is usually easier for me to use my lap top to search for the correct setting, i just use procomm to step through the speed settings, i have had to use 7 space and none. but not in years...
