VSU for BC10

I have a BC10 (LZY2035153/1/BC10CNA129/R1A) and want to add a VSU board without upgrading other boards (if possible).
Will a VSU1 board (ROF 137 5360/2) or VSU2 board (ROF 137 5360/3) work with my release?
Are there any other boards, I need to pay attention in regards to the revision number?

I went from BC9 to BC13 with no upgrades needed to my existing VSU boards. You shouldn't have any problems in BC10.

Yes - I could use some luck!!

My ERICSSON hardware provider can still sell me VSUs but no licence for it as BC10 is no longer supported.

To upgrade BC10 to 12 or 13 for a 2-lim setup ... (I don't even want to write out that staggering amount it costs.)

How could I legally purchase one? (Without buying a phased-out lim.)

Is there any other solution (external VSU) without the need of upgrading licences? (As you can see above - I have also no NIU board.)

Any advice is very, very much appreciated!

Hi DevPlan, we faced a similar problem and our provider found a type of sale called "Expansion sales" where you could buy BC10 and BC11 licences even if it was phased out, you could ask your provider about it. I hope it helps.

Your provider should be able to buy this licence by the EPI - Ericssons Enteprice Interface.
