I am running BE 10D Version 10.1 Rev 5629 on a Win2K3 SP2 Server. I backup incrementally daily with full backups weekly and monthly. My source selections include selected volumes plus all Shadow Copy Components. It is the Shadow Copy Components that is causing the VSS Writers Error. I ran VSSAdmin test writers and everything is OK. By process of elimination I have narrowed the problem down to the Shadow Copy Server State Event Viewer Log component. When I uncheck the Event Viewer Log, my backups complete without errors but without backups of the event logs. I have run this exact setup for 3 years without issue and I'm unsure what is causing this now. Any suggestions??
